Frequently Asked Questions
  • How Can I Get Kerusso Coffee?
Easy, just send an e-mail to Vickie@kerussocoffee.com, and we will get the coffee to you. Check back here often, as we will be constantly adding to our store here on-line, where, of course, you can purchase at www.kerussocoffee.com. You may also want to get a local church, bookstore, or coffeeshop to start carrying Kerusso. Take a bag to your local coffeehouse and see if they would like to carry the world's freshest coffee.

  • Why did the package change?
Freshness, mainly. We are obsessive about fresh coffee. The stand-up pouches we were using were actually robbing us of freshness (we recently learned). It turns out, it is better to have the coffee beans in a non-see-through package; so, we switched to the classy copper foil bags.

  • Why do you not offer ground coffee?
It pains us not to offer ground coffee because we know that it is faster and more convenient for you. However, we just can't bring ourselves to grind up those precious little beans! Did you know that ground coffee goes stale in 3 days? Whole beans can last for weeks (particularly in our specially designed bags, equipped with thick foil and a de-gassing valve).

  • Does it help to store coffee in the freezer or refrigerator?
No, sadly, it doesn't. Freezers and refrigerators may alter the taste of the coffee (as in freezer burn), but they will not improve the freshness of your coffee.

  • What is the best way to store Kerusso Coffee?
Our foil bags are specifically designed to keep your Kerusso Coffee fresh. The foil blocks out harmful sunlight. We also equip all our bags with de-gassing valves to protect coffee from oxygen and get rid of carbon dioxide. So, the answer to the question is to keep your coffee in our specially formulated bag. You can re-seal the bags with our seal tape (also provided).

  • Are Your Beans Arabica Beans?
Yes. We select from the top 5% of beans in the world. Our beans are the highest quality Arabica beans. Most beans in America are, in fact, Arabica (more than 80%). Arabica and Robusta are the 2 main types of beans (though there are others). We choose only high grade specialty beans.

We are always learning more about great coffee and how to drink it to the glory of God. If you have a question for us, please fire away. We will do our best to find the answer you are seeking.
