We are real people, not much different from you. We are a family trying to live as faithful stewards of God's creation for our time upon this earth. Though we now live in the lovely Mid-west, nestled in the bluegrass hills of beautiful Kentucky, our roots stretch down South into the swampy bayous of Southwest Louisiana, where rice growers and crawfish farmers abound (sa, c'est bon).
We have grown to love coffee--the robust aroma wafting gently away in a trail of steam; the full-bodied flavor, filling the cup with warm, hearty bean-juice; and the exciting distinctives of each premium varietal as it hits the taste buds and splashes the mouth with color--Oh! we love a good cup. More than drinking the coffee, however, we have grown to love watching coffee display glory to God and bring joy to others. Coffee is incredibly versatile and strategic.
What do we mean "strategic"? Well, did you know that coffee is the 2nd most traded substance on planet earth? Far beyond gold or silver or stocks or soft drinks, coffee is traded more often than anything on the planet except for oil. Oil has a history of dividing people. Coffee has a history of bringing folks together. We love coffee because it glorifies God and helps human beings come together.
